I have been involved in the manufactured home industry for the past 25 years and started Emerald Lifestyle Homes in 1990. One of our goals was to create a fun and comfortable experience for our customers when  viewing our model homes. We have achieved that by always leaving our homes "open and our prices posted." As President of OMHA, our board implements changes and enhancements to our industry that will benefit today's homebuyers. My career in this business started in 1974 when I answered an ad in Twin Falls, Idaho for a Manufactured Home and RV Sales Center. For 14 years, I both opened and managed sales lots and also planned and started manufactured home subdivisions. In 1987 I retired, but returned to the industry 5 years later. In 1994 I moved to Oregon to be closer to some of my grandkids and worked at  Kilroys in Woodburn. I have 19 years combined retail sales experience. My last 8 years has been in the manufactured home industry with Emerald Lifestyle Homes. I joined the Emerald Family in 2000 with over 30 years of accounting and office management experience. I received my accounting education at Oregon State University. Prior to coming to Emerald Lifestyle Homes, my experience has been in the frozen prepared foods, advertising, printing and motel management industries. I started out in the industry more than 50 years ago, doing home setups, driving truck and performing service work. In those days, it was 8 foot wide single wide homes; now it's doubles and triples and homes with lofts. I have been with Emerald 14 years and absolutely love my job and the customers!

I have been working for Emerald Lifestyle Homes for many years. My original background included setting up manufactured and mobile homes and I have now been in the Service Department, helping our customers with home repairs.
